In this video I am going to teach you the most efficient way to get the resources you need to build level 2 walls.

The secret to getting lots of level two walls is mastering the green zones. Unlike many of the single player versions of this game style, farming a green zone is not easy unless you know what you are doing. My first tip to farming the green zone is to have at least a spear already made and equipped and preferably a hatchet and pickaxe as well. I also recommend having a backpack and ten or more berries but those are less important. I recommend bringing these items not because you need them to do the green zone but rather because they will save you time. Having these items already equipped saves advanced players an average of 30 seconds each time and can save newer players up to four minutes. So just get in the habit of having a chest of these items near where you exit so that you can grab them before you go to the green zone.

Once you have a spear, sneak up on the enemies that are alone. The best class to use starting off is the curer because it gives a little bit more sustainability, but eventually you will want to unlock the sorcerer which allows you to one shot most of the enemies with this sneak attack. If there is a group of two enemies, then go ahead and sneak up on one and then kill the other afterwards, but if there are three enemies, then you will want to lure one towards you and kill it before sneaking up on the other two. You will also want to prioritize killing wolves first so that you can run away if you need to.

If you run far enough away from an enemy, they will reset allowing you to sneak up on them again.

There are 2 or 3 thralls in every zone each having 75 health and dealing a base attack of 9. And there are 1 or 2 bowman which can be difficult because a player’s reaction to their ranged attacks can often cause more enemies to aggro.

If the zone hasn’t reset by the time you go back in, it is because either there are still players in that zone or because the Zone has not been cleared out enough. The fastest way to reset the zone is to empty at least two of the three chests in that zone and then leave. As long as no one is in there, it will reset immediately. I generally recommend looting these chests anyways because they have food and water to alleviate your hunger and thirst and they occasionally have really good items. The Forest of Whispers is currently a family only zone which means you will not run into any randoms there and can therefore take your time opening these chests, Baldr’s Cliff on the other hand is not so if you are going for the chests, you should do it quickly.

Once you master farming the green zones, you will get tons and tons of wood and stone, but now the trick is knowing how to use it.

If you are in a shortage of wood meaning that you do not have time to farm more of it, you will want to make sure that you are being extremely efficient when making charcoal by making sure that you always have coals on the bottom of your campfire and planks on the top. But alternatively, if you are in a shortage of planks because your two workbenches are not producing planks fast enough which often happens for extremely active players early on, then you will actually want to put wood over coals allowing you to save your planks for more level two walls.

When you start building your level two walls, you will want to start with with your 3 innermost layers mainly because they require a lot less planks then you’re outer layers and then I recommend working on your outermost layer because making it look like all of your walls are level two will sometimes scare off some players.

When you are upgrading each layer, I recommend starting on the bottom sections for two reasons. First, because those layers are the ones that players can see and while it is possible for players to check which exterior walls are level one, if you are actively defending your base, they often won’t get a chance. And second, because if you force them to attack from the top of your base, it gives you the perspective advantage that I talk about in my PvP videos.

So that is an overview of how to get lots and lots of level two walls. If you have any questions, put it in a comment below and I or one of the research team members will answer it as soon as we can.

This is the second video of my series on the efficacious way to get rich. If you liked it, make sure to check out the other ones as I am covering every resource in the game.

Alright guys, I’ll see you next time.
